Scary Birds

Went to my local park the other day to feed the ducks. Got there to discover that not only were there ducks but LOADS of Canadian Geese (see below) and bucket loads of pigeons. Now I don't have a bird phobia or anything, but i do tend to shreak and leap about in the centre of town if pigeons change their flight path and aim themselves at me - much to the embarassment of who i'm with at the time. Anyway, so we decided to walk past all these other birds and just go to a quiet spot that had a few cute looking ducks to feed. Well, it started out ok, then i heard the flapping of wings and looked up just in time to see every pigeon in a 5 mile radius coming towards us, closely followed by all of the Canadian Geese... OMG!(or words to that effect). As we threw the bread, all of the birds kept coming towards us and we were backing off, but they just kept coming, so we lobbed the last of the bread and beat a very hasty retreat! - tell you what, hungry geese are vicious - they were grabbing the legs of the ducks and pulling them away from the bread - how mean!
