Well this little monkey has had a change of image. 

I took the plunge last week and sat in my hairdresses for over 7 hours, yes you heard that correctly 7 HOURS!!!! but i emerged will a complete new look, gone is my long brown winter hair, hello shorter, layered blonde hairdo.  Its taken a bit of getting used to, but I'm really quite pleased with it. 

Its amazing how a change of hairdo makes you feel like a different person, and what an impact it has on how others see/treat you.  Its really crazy, but after only 4 days of being 'blonde' I've noticed that I'm being noticed more, and if I say something people actually appear to let me speak and listen to me, I mean, yeah, I appreciate that they may be thinking -'god she's talking a load of [bleep]' but at least I can get my sentance out without someone just talking over me, as though my words aren't even worth air time.

I also actually feel different, like there was a different person supressed inside me, and now i've gone blonde its emerged.

very odd, but quite nice.

Final thought: Blondes DO have more fun...

New look ? nice ! always feels good to change. Plus people do seem to pay more attention to you.
