Dev update and metablog

Thought I should do at least a little update in here, seeing as it's been a while. I've done a few little updates to the site recently, though nothing too major. If you're interested in keeping up to date with what's happening, you might want to check out metablog, which contains brief updates about what's happening to the site. This blog is for less frequent, but more detailed information (waffle) about what's going on behind the scenes.

Anyway, what's on the cards for the next few weeks:

• Pagination of blogs
• Comments / discussion
• Useful stuff in the sidebars (ie no more "So what would go in this sidebar, then")
• Blog privacy settings
• Editing of entries

Stuff to happen after that:

• OpenID support (so you can post comments at places like LiveJournal using your req.co.uk account, and LJ users can post comments here using their LJ account)
• Something quite cool (or at least, it is from my point of view). It's a bit of an experiment that I fancy having a go at. More details closer to the time.
