Getting REQed (blogs.req.co.uk/gettingreqed)

The story so far

OK, so this time around, I've decided to branch of the blog development stuff into a seperate DevBlog (cleverly called "Getting REQed" - see, the site's req.co.uk, and this is the process... yeah. It's not that clever, really, is it?).

So, what's the deal so far? Got some db with a bit of data in, and am just in the process of developing some pages for actually viewing the data. This time there's a lot more use of CSS layout, which - whilst it is quite irritating to do - will make it a lot easier for do things to the site in the long run (skins etc). At the moment, the blog page is looking OK, though there's no pagination or anything. In fact, it doesn't really do much except display blog entries. Still more work to do there, methinks. Also, the add page doesn't have any kind of authentication (in fact, the whole thing doesn't have any kind of authentication), but that's not really an issue, as it only runs on a local web server on my machine.

That's it for now, I think, as we're off to go and collect some tiles for the new house in half an hour, and (1) I've been sat here hacking in my dressing gown for the last hour and Jo isn't even up yet.

Later :-)
